What is the new schedule for 2026?

The 2026 Adrian Awards Celebration has been reimagined! 

3:30 pm – 4:30pm – Top 25 Reception (by Invitation Only) 

4:30 pm – 5:30pm – Arrivals 
Please arrive at 4:30 pm (and no later than 5:30 pm) to check in, receive your name badge, seat assignment, and enjoy white wine, champagne, and sparkling water. 

5:30pm – Awards Ceremony 
The awards presentation will start promptly at 5:30 pm and will finish at 7:00 pm – a change from previous years. During the awards ceremony, light snacks will be pre-set on each table including crudités, dips, and champagne. During the awards, a cash bar will be available in the ballroom foyer. 

7:00 pm – 9:00 pm – Dinner Reception
Following the awards presentation, we’ll transition to a dinner reception from 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm. Guests will find food stations, passed hors d’oeuvres, and a full open (and hosted) bar. 

 

What is the dress code?

This is a celebratory affair! Dress code is cocktail attire – black tie is welcome, but optional.

What are the seating arrangements?

Seats at the Celebration are pre-assigned. Table numbers will be located on the back of name badgesavailable at the registration desk upon arrival. A floor plan illustrating the table locations will be available onsite. 

Where will the registration desk be located?

All Adrians events are at:

Registration and the event ballroom are located on the 6th Floor Foyer, right outside the elevator banks. 

Will there be photo opportunities?

Yes!

Backdrops will be positioned throughout the event space with opportunities for themed photos with our photographer or with your phone’s camera. 

Will the HSMAI Foundation have another great silent auction?

Yes!

Our generous community donated experiences, getaways, and giftsBidding opens virtually on February 11 and continues through the Adrian Awards Celebration on February 18, where the auction will conclude during the event at 9:00 PM ET. All proceeds go to the Foundation’s work of scholarships, research, and professional development.

Is there a room block?

HSMAI’s room block at Marriott Marquis closed on January 28, 2026.

Rooms may still be available directly from the hotel: New York Times Square Hotel | New York Marriott Marquis 

How will I get my Adrians trophy?

Platinum and Best of Show trophies will be presented at the Ceremony (or shipped if unable to attend).

All other trophies will be available for purchase through our new & improved online store opening in the coming weeks.  

Can I purchase a ticket at the door?

We advise purchasing tickets in advance, so a table assignment can be arranged. On-site purchases are subject to availability.  

What is the cancellation policy?

Cancellations received four weeks prior to the conference will receive a full refund, less a $75 administrative fee.

Cancellations received between four and one week out are entitled to a 50% refund, or 100% roll-over to the 2027 Adrian Awards Celebration.

Cancellations received within one week will not be refunded, except in the case of a medical emergency.

The transfer of a registration to a colleague is free of charge and must be requested in writing.

All cancellations and transfers must be submitted in writing to mandie.hart@hsmai.org. 

May I substitute a name on my ticket?

Yes!

A transfer of your registration is permitted prior to the Celebration by submitting a written request to mandie.hart@hsmai.orgOnsite transfers must be accompanied by proof of the original confirmation letter. Only one transfer is permitted per original registrant. The individual submitting the transfer request is responsible for all financial obligations (any balance due) associated with that substitution. Badge sharing, splitting, and reprints are prohibited.
