The HSMAI Adrian Awards

For 63 years the Adrian Awards have spotlighted excellence in hospitality advertising, digital marketing, and public relations.

The focus of the 2020 HSMAI Adrian Awards will be on Best Practices, Innovation and Community in categories related to work done in response to the coronavirus crisis, with streamlined entry, lower costs, and a later deadline to allow recognition of more great work. The Adrian Awards will gather and share these best practices and innovations that empower recovery in new and traditional categories.

The 2020 Adrians Will Have Four Focus Categories:

  • Corporate Social Responsibility
  • Crisis Communications/Management
  • Recovery Strategies
  • Talent and Leadership Development: An HSMAI Foundation Honor

Traditional Adrian Awards Entry

Entries will also be accepted in 20 select Adrian Awards categories for pre-crisis marketing efforts.

Entry Fees

Entry fees in all Adrian 2020 categories will be significantly reduced.

Entry Period

Entries will open October 1, 2020 and close December 1, 2020

Adrian Celebration

A dinner will be held celebrating best practices, innovation, and outstanding individuals, Tuesday, March 30, 2021, in conjunction with the HSMAI Marketing Strategy Conference and other “HSMAI Marketing Week” events at The Diplomat, Hollywood, FL.

Nominate a Hero

Given the unique current landscape of hospitality and travel and the emergence of extraordinary leaders, HSMAI has chosen to create a new recognition program “HSMAI Hospitality Heroes: An Adrian Awards Honor” which will supplement the HSMAI Adrians 2020 competition. Nominate the industry professionals you think deserve recognition for their efforts to take a leadership position, champion a cause, or create a program that has directly benefited industry workers, medical personnel, first responders, or communities impacted by the coronavirus pandemic.
