Event Summary: This is the 67th edition of the Adrian Awards Celebration honoring excellence in travel marketing. This year, we highlight the stories of remarkable campaigns, ads, and experiences that sparked a love for travel, igniting a desire for exploration in travelers around the world.

Attendee Profile: This event boasts one of the largest gathering of marketing executives in the hospitality and travel industry. Returning to New York City in 2024, we expect 500-600 attendees representing hotel and destination marketing organization leaders as well as marketing and public relations agencies.

Adrian Awards Celebration Attendee Profile

The Adrian Awards Celebration is an event to celebrate the previous years top marketing efforts. Now in their 67th year, the HSMAI Adrian Awards recognize hospitality brands and agencies for creativity and innovation in advertising, digital, public relations/communications, and integrated campaigns. The HSMAI Adrian Awards embraces every segment of the industry, including hotels, airlines, cruise lines, car rental companies, destinations, and more. Winners are selected from a field of nearly 1,200 entries by senior industry and media experts and honored at the Adrian Awards Celebration.

This year in New York, we expect over 500 guests to attend the Adrian Awards Celebration.

Top 25 Extraordinary Minds VIP Reception

The HSMAI Top 25 Americas awards recognize leaders in sales, marketing, and revenue optimization of hospitality, travel, and tourism organizations for their accomplishments in the preceding 18 months. Selected by a panel of senior industry executives, “Top 25” awardees are high achievers who stand out through their creativity and innovation, cutting-edge campaigns and programs, triumph in challenging situations and efforts that resulted in dramatic gains.

The VIP Reception will be held the hour prior to the start of the Adrian Awards Celebration dinner reception with approximately 75-100 executives in attendance, including current Top 25 class & their guests as well as past Top 25 recipients attending the Adrian Awards celebration.

Every year a full color glossy program is created to list the winners and outline the run of show for the evening. Complete your marketing campaign with targeted ads designed to reinforce your message and congratulate your winners. Distributed to every attendee, your ad in the onsite program will provide you with a tangible presence at this important event. Advertising opportunities are limited and are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Advertising partners can choose between a full or a half page ad. Ad reservation deadline to be announced.

Event Summary

Wednesday, Feb 14, the morning after the Adrian Awards Celebration HSMAI is hosting a unique by-invitation-only program for Destination Marketing Organization Chief Executive Officers and Chief Marketing Officers who are attending the Adrian Awards Celebration.

Last year’s Adrian Awards had 74 unique DMO’s who won an Adrian Award. They won 33 Gold awards, 49 Silver awards, 78 Bronze awards, and 8 of them will be receiving platinum awards this year. We are expecting a strong showing from destination marketing executives attending the Celebration again this year.

We expect 40-50 execs at a minimum to attend the joint breakfast which will also include the HSMAI Hotel Chief Marketing Officers who will be meeting after the breakfast program.  The program will include a keynote presentation sharing unique insights tailored for this specific audience.

Chief Marketing Officer Executive Roundtable Event

A select thought leadership opportunity – sponsor a roundtable to connect with hotel c-suite executives.

HSMAI Executive Roundtables are networks of like-minded senior hotel leaders that meet periodically at face-to-face and virtual forums. On Average, each by-invitation-only roundtables hosts 15-20 senior executives responsible for sales, marketing, and revenue optimization from leading hotel brands, management companies and ownership groups. All roundtables have up to three exclusive partnership positions which are available on a first come, first served basis.
